Taco Bell Is Testing Strawberries and Cream Empanadas and French Toast Dippers

New items are being tested as possible additions to the chain’s $1 Morning Value Menu

Strawberries and Cream ‘Popanadas’ are ‘poppable,’ mini versions of Taco Bell’s Caramel Apple Empanadas.

Taco Bell is currently testing two sweet additions to its popular $1 Morning Value Menu: Strawberries and Cream Empanadas and French Toast Dippers.

The Strawberries and Cream Empanadas, also known as ‘Popanadas,’ are essentially ‘poppable,’ mini versions of the chain’s famous Caramel Apple Empanadas with a strawberries and cream filling. Two Popanadas come with each $1 order, reports Brand Eating.

The French Toast Dippers come in orders of three with dipping sauce, also for $1.

The company will look to customer feedback to help determine the potential for adding these items to its $1 Morning Value Menu, which was introduced last month. The menu currently includes a Mini Skillet Bowl, Breakfast Soft Taco, and Sausage Flatbread Quesadilla. Other offerings include a Grilled Breakfast Burrito, Cinnabon Delights 2-Pack, Hash Brown, and small Mountain Dew Kickstart Orange Citrus.
